Equipment Loan Program
by posted 05/15/2012

Hello BLC!

DONATE USED EQUIPMENT

Our club offers a fantastic benefit to it's members - an equipment loan program. We are always looking for great gear, so now that the season is drawing to a close it is time to look through your bags and closets and DONATE the gear that no longer fits your players. Any and all donations (sticks, heads, gloves, helmets, etc) are welcome and APPRECIATED!!

RETURN LOANER GEAR

For those of you who have rented equipment this year, it is time to gather your loaner gear and return it to the club. We are working hard to clean up and clean out the club's loaner gear so it is really important that any gear you do not plan to use for the summer is returned.

RENTING GEAR OVER THE SUMMER

If you plan to use your gear this summer you need to renew your loan to keep it. Simply send a check with your player's name and what gear he/she is renting. Each piece is $5, or $25 for a full set.

Send checks (made payable to BLC) to:

BERKELEY LACROSSE CLUB
c/o Anastasia Garrison
212 Columbia Avenue
Kensington, CA 94708

EQUIPMENT RETURNS DATES AND LOCATIONS

  • FRIDAY MAY 18 - Memorial Park, Albany, 5 - 5:30 pm
  • THURSDAY MAY 24 - Bates Fields parking lot, 3:30 - 4 pm
  • FRIDAY MAY 25 - Bates Fields parking lot, 3:30 - 4 pm

If you are unable to return gear on these days you may either send a check to renew your loan so you can keep the gear, or contact Anastasia to arrange a return at   or (510) 526-2279.

Thank you in advance for your cooperation and support of our Loaner Equipment Program!

Coach Joe's Item of the Week
Nike Elite Full Stick Setup. $49.99 Comes in Three colors. This is the standard price for this stick at all vendors including Lacrosse Monkey which is linked. This head is very similar to the much more expensive STX Proton which is one of the most commonly used offensive heads in the game. The shaft is a nondescript 7075 aluminum, the same as your Brine Swizzbeat without the flashy graphic. The head is a bit narrow, but not overly so. This is an excellent stick for the intermediate player to take it to the next level.
